OCTOBER AND MARCH ARE ‘YOUTH MONTHS’ AT HOLY TRINITY
During October and March we put special focus on our youth, giving them opportunities to serve the parish in these ways:
The Sunday school classes take turns serving as greeters, cleaning the candle stands and icons, and taking the collection—Parents, please see the schedule below for your student.
Sunday school families either put on a coffee hour or do a charity activity during youth month. Please plan to bring food and help at our coffee hour March 24th!
Older students read the Epistle each Sunday.
This March, children can sing in a youth choir! Beginning March 3 after Liturgy each Sunday, Ruthie Munk will practice with the kids for 20 minutes to prepare to sing during Communion at a future Liturgy and at the Liturgy for Lazarus Saturday on April 20.

Greeting and handing out bulletins: On the Sunday a class is scheduled to serve, parents can bring them before 9:45 to greet people and hand out bulletins. After greeting and handing out bulletins, younger children can sit with their families.
If older students want to be in the Narthex “on duty” to help snuff any candles during Liturgy, they can wait in the back pew by the parish council and go to the candles when asked by a council member.
After Communion students go to their classroom then return to snuff candles, clean the sand and icons and take the collection.
